The founder of IBS is Vilnius University. It is one of the oldest and most famous higher education establishments in Eastern and Central Europe. Vilnius University was founded in 1579 and functioned as the only school of higher learning in Lithuania for many years. The University is a unique witness to the rich history of the Lithuanian state and has played a significant role in the cultural life not only of Lithuania, but the neighbouring countries as well.tvm

IBS was established in 1989 and awards Bachelor degrees in International Business, Business and Politics in Central and Eastern Europe, International Business of Tourism and Master degree in International Marketing and Trade.
